Snowdon 1/2 Marathon Llanrwst

Job well done to race organizers at runwales.com for putting on a fantastic event.  The hills were punishing but the event was first class.

Safer Streets for Llanrwst

Assembly member, Janet Finch-Saunders, lends her support to a local campaign for a road crossing on the south side of Llanrwst.   Meeting at a rain soaked bus stop today were six Llanwrst Town councilors and even more local towns folk.  All present plus a three page petition agree that this location was overdue for a safety crossing.  Why a crossing that was clearly listed in the previous road works plan had not been completed is unclear.  Some suggested that the highest earning speed trap in North Wales was to blame for the reluctant construction.  Regardless, Janet promised to take the matter to the top as the issue affects so many residents quality of life here in Llanrwst.
